I'm Michelle Pierce, the Chief Floral Officer and creative force behind The Sentimental Petal, an artisan design studio based just outside Baton Rouge Louisiana. As a floral designer I am known for my lush bridal bouquets, exquisite fresh flower jewelry, large scale installations, and whimsical floral illustrations. While I am a licensed florist, Ialso sketch,  paint and make jewelry, and I have worked as costumer and set designer. These lifelong studies and experiences have uniquely prepared me for luxury wedding and event work. My team and I are constantly working to keep up with design trends and to learn new techniques so that we can  create a gift of original floral art for our clients.

I have been married to my husband and business partner Steve for 22 years and together we have raised two children. When I am not making bouquets, writing proposals or nursing hot glue gun burns, I  enjoy training my Australian Labradoodle, Buttercup,  writing,  and I have a pretty serious video game addiction. I also drink tons of coffee and spend WAY too much time on social media, where I like to blog,
